Expedition History was founded in 1989 with a single conviction: that history is best understood when you stand where it happened. Our founders — both historians and passionate travellers — believed that the battlefield, the trench, the town square, tells a story no textbook can replicate.

We cap every departure at 20 guests. Small groups mean private access to sites, personal attention from your historian, and the kind of in-depth conversations that transform a trip into a memory.
